MELISSA O., LEAD TEACHER

​Ms. Melissa worked as a Pre-K Paraprofessional and a Substitute Teacher before joining our center in 2020.  She has a B.A. degree in Social Science and works from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

LORI H., CO-ASSISTANT TEACHER

​Ms. Lori began working in our Infant/Toddler Program in 2000 and works part time from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday.  She earned a B.S. degree in Home Economics and has raised two children of her own. Lori is CPR and First Aid certified.

MARY R., CO-ASSISTANT TEACHER

Ms. Mary had extensive experience working with both infants and toddlers before joining our center in 2022.  She works full time from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is CPR and First Aid certified.

ENVIRONMENT
  • A loving, nurturing environment where each child’s individual needs are met through qualified, very experienced teachers

  • A safe environment where infants can explore and discover their identity and surroundings

  • Bottle feeding is always with an adult caregiver

  • The environment is changed to support the lesson plans

  • This classroom is licensed for up to six infants

CURRICULUM
  • Lesson plans consist of activities in social emotional growth, motor skill development, acquisition of language, cognitive development and Christianity

  • Activities are planned using individual time, small groups, large groups, and music and movement

  • Teachers promote every area of children’s development through personal interactions, educational toys and materials and exploratory walks throughout the premises

PARENT INVOLVEMENT
  • Teachers encourage and welcome parent participation and involvement
