Ms. Abbey K. | Lead Teacher
Ms. Abbey is entering her 6th year as the Dream Maker lead teacher and brings 9 years of experience in early childhood education. She is known for her creative, hands-on lesson plans that make learning both fun and meaningful for 3-year-olds. One of Ms. Abbey’s special strengths is helping children through the potty-training journey. She understands that every child develops at their own pace and provides reassurance as they learn this important milestone.
You’ll notice that her classroom is calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged making it the perfect setting for play-based learning and discovery. We know your child will feel right at home with her!
Ms. Abbey’s hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, and she is CPR and First Aid certified.

CURRICULUM

Lesson plans consist of activities in social emotional growth, motor skill development, acquisition of language, cognitive development and Christianity

Activities are planned using individual time, small groups, large groups, and music and movement

Children are exposed to all areas of development through theme-based units that encourage exploration and curiosity

Children begin exploring the structures of group care that will help to ease the transition into kindergarten and the school system

Teacher reads to children in group and individual settings

Teacher continues to solidify potty training skills by working closely with parents to ensure continuity between home and school
