Imagineers (2.5-3.5 years)
Ms. Alexa | Lead Teacher
Ms. Alexa is excited to begin her second year as the Lead Teacher in the Imagineers classroom. She has experience with a variety of early childhood learning curriculums, allowing her to create meaningful opportunities for learning and growth!
One of Ms. Alexa’s special strengths is the potty-training journey. She understands that every child develops at their own pace and provides encouragement, patience, and reassurance as children learn this important milestone. Whether it’s celebrating successes or helping children feel confident during the process, Ms. Alexa creates a positive experience as they gain this new independence.
Ms. Alexa’s hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM, and she is CPR and First Aid certified.
ENVIRONMENT

CURRICULUM

Lesson plans consist of activities in social emotional growth, motor skill development, acquisition of language, cognitive development and Christianity

Activities are planned using individual time, small groups, large groups, and music and movement

Children are exposed to all areas of development through theme-based units that encourage exploration and curiosity

Children begin exploring the structures of group care that will help to ease the transition into kindergarten and the school system

Teacher reads to children in group and individual settings

Teacher continues to solidify potty training skills by working closely with parents to ensure continuity between home and school
